FLY FISHING INSTRUCTION AND LESSONS
Learn from Someone Who FishesThese Waters Every Day
Whether you’re picking up a fly rod for the first time or looking to add a new technique to your game, instruction is tailored to where you are and where you want to go. Sessions are fully flexible — a few hours on the lawn or a half day on the water — whatever makes the most sense for your goals.
Single-Hand Casting & Technique
We cover the fundamentals of single-hand casting, line control, and presentation. Beyond the mechanics, we work on reading water — understanding where fish hold, how they move, and how to adjust your approach for different species and conditions. Whether you’re fishing dries, nymphs, or streamers, the right technique for the situation makes all the difference.
Two-Handed Casting
Two-handed fly fishing opens up a whole new world of water and technique. We cover Skagit lines for heavy tips and big flies in high water, Scandi lines for a more delicate touch and longer leaders, and traditional spey lines for the classic swing. Whether you’re brand new to the two-hander or looking to clean up your D-loop, we’ll get you sorted.
